SUICIDE SAFETY

A place where you can go to get calm and culturally sensitive support if you are experiencing distress or suicidal thoughts. Where you can talk openly about how you are feeling and what you’re going through. If you don’t feel like chatting, you can spend time in a quiet space and listen to music. It is free and you don’t need an appointment.

COORDINARE in collaboration with Black Dog Institute is offering the Recognise and Respond - Suicide Prevention training free to people living and working in the South Eastern NSW Primary Health Network region.

If you work with older people and would like to learn how to support someone experiencing thoughts of suicide, Run by Anglicare and funded by the Australian Government, the Suicide Prevention for Seniors Program is for anyone who works with or supports older people.
